Most of you already know who I am, but for those who don't, I am ClarkKent. I was the first Speaker of the House under the current Constitution and a member of the Senate under the previous one.
I'll try to keep this brief and to the point, just how I plan to keep the government.
I want to start off by thanking now-Senator Siren for her service. She has been an example of activity and listening to different sides of every issue--something I plan to emulate.
Why am I running? Because I care about Atlasia and want to improve it.
Why should you vote for me?
I have a proven record of standing by my beliefs, and going against the party line if necessary. You will always know where I stand. I will fight for common sense solutions that will benefit every Atlasian, including criminal justice reform to lower recidivism rates and better protect Atlasians, reducing and ending crony capitalism, improving access to a good education for our children, reforming the tax code, and making Atlasia more energy independent. And I will work with leaders in both houses of Congress to make sure everyone is on the same page and bills don't get delayed or forgotten.
As the second decade of the 21st centuries nears its end, we must not only prepare for change, but lead it. I will fight for scientific discoveries and technological development that will not only benefit the lives of every Atlasian citizen, but will maintain our position as a world leader for years to come.
If I am elected, my office will always be open. An involved citizenry is necessary for a democratic society, and I will allow everyone a voice.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me below. Let's take this all the way to the Capitol!
Thank you,
ClarkKent
