With the hope that Lumine will re-open soon his Political Tracker, I think that now we need a tracker, a discussion thread for the next At-Large Senate Election, that will be held on August 22-24.

Curious to see Bacon King running for Senate, I wonder if this merits a new poll despite the limited time... (even if he is running for his own movement instead of Labor)

Yes... I will open a new poll today (duration of 3 days, from 18 to 21).

The Bicameral Birthing Amendment of 2014 passed the Senate, with seven votes affirmative, two opposed, and one abstention.

Now, these are the numbers from the regions vote:

Pacific - 17% reported - Aye 2 (40%) Nay 3 (60%)
Northeast - 14% reported - Aye 2 (33%) Nay 4 (67%)
Midwest - Polls not open
Mideast - Polls not open
IDS - Polls not open

If I'm not wrong, the Amendment needs to pass in the majority of regions, so 3 regions should voting for the passage of the Amendment.

UPDATE:

Now, these are the numbers from the regions vote:

Pacific - 30% reported - Aye 3 (33%) Nay 6 (67%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Northeast - 14% reported - Aye 2 (33%) Nay 4 (67%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Midwest - 10% reported - Aye 3 (100%) Nay 0 (0%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Mideast - Polls not open
IDS - Polls not open

The Amendment needs to pass in the majority of regions, so 3 (or 4?) regions should voting for the passage of the Amendment.

What votes were cast outside of the time parameters? The booth said that voting began on August 19, and no one voted before then. That's leaving aside that votes on federal amendments are to be opened immediately and that the delay may not even be legal in the first place.
It could be the clock setting issue. I also see the first votes before the day starts but I may be 1 hour off with Atlasian clock.

Just looking at my post here, I am indeed 1 hour off, so that could be what Cris sees too.

If my interpretation isn't wrong, the Northeast polls were open at 00.00 am on August 19  and the polls will closed at 23.59.59 am on August 26 and 4 votes were casted between 11.41 pm - 11.46 pm on August 18.

Ugh, I think it's and EDT/EST issue.

Still, I don't understand why there was a delay in the first place. Northeast law doesn't even dictate how long the booth needs to be open. (Yes, this is up to the regions since ratification of the 17th Amendment.) As there is no apparent legal basis for disenfranchising me and the other voters who made the same mistake, I expect our votes to be counted.
The 4 votes were counted in my updates.

I am only counting 18 No votes, not 19.

With the vote of Cranberry included, I have:

Pacific - 36% reported - Aye 4 (36%) Nay 7 (64%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Northeast - 48% reported - Aye 9 (45%) Nay 11 (55%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Midwest - 21% reported - Aye 5 (83%) Nay 0 (0%) Abstain 1 (17%)
IDS - 18% reported - Aye 3 (60%) Nay 2 (40%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Mideast - Polls not open

National - 24% reported - Aye 21 (50%) Nay 20 (48%) Abstain 1 (2%)

The Amendment needs to pass in 4 regions.

BrandonCordeiro is not registered in Atlasia, so his vote should not be counted

So we have:

Pacific - 36% reported - Aye 4 (36%) Nay 7 (64%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Northeast - 45% reported - Aye 9 (47%) Nay 10 (53%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Midwest - 21% reported - Aye 5 (83%) Nay 0 (0%) Abstain 1 (17%)
IDS - 18% reported - Aye 3 (60%) Nay 2 (40%) Abstain 0 (0%)
Mideast - Polls not open

National - 24% reported - Aye 21 (51%) Nay 19 (46%) Abstain 1 (2%)

The Amendment needs to pass in 4 regions.

Duly noted.

Also, what will happen if the Mideast never opens its booth? Do we count it as voting no or do we have some sort of emergency booth opening? I'm willing to open the booth if no one else will.

Lieutenant Governor TJ in Cleve can open the booth?
