Camp 1: We must return to March 2020- if not even more strict measures- to rid the world of covid once and for all.  #ZeroCovid was right, and we abandoned it too soon.

Camp 2: The unvaccinated should be forced back into lockdown with siginficant restrictions on life for the vaccinated (perhaps resembling blue state restrictions during the winter of 2020-21).

Camp 3: Life should continue semi-normally and everything should be open, but I support mask and/or vaccine mandates.

Camp 4: Vaccinated people should be living without restrictions, while encouraging, but not requiring unvaccinated people to get vaccinated.  People with covid should still get tested and quarantine.

Camp 5: Covid needs to be treated no differently then the flu.  Make vaccines and treatments available to anyone who wants them, but that's it.  End mass testing of asymptomatic or pauci-symptomatic people and allow people who feel up to it to go about normal lives- whether they would test positive or negative.

#4, though I do support mask mandates only for the unvaccinated, and vaccine mandates in certain professions

Out of those Camp 3. I'd like something like Austria, vaccinated can live life as normal and go everywhere with no mask mandates while unvaccinated are banned from most public places.

"People with covid should still get tested"?  If they already know they have Covid, why are they being tested?

Somewhere between 4 & 5 I guess. Tests should be left for those who truly need them, mostly places like nursing homes. If you have covid try to quarantine if you can for a little while.  Promote vaccination for most adults but recognize natural immunity as being more or less just as good. For kids just treat it like the flu.

Agree with Shua, voted for #5. I don't think we should be specifically testing people for COVID and requiring them to quarantine, but we should be providing paid sick leave to everyone and encouraging anyone with a flu-like illness (Covid or not) to take advantage of it.

Camp 4 and thats how we mostly treat people with the Flu. Parents were always told by schools not to send a kid with the flu to school, and if they have a fever not to send them until its been 24 hours till it subsides as well.

We don't test people nonstop for the flu, though.  Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever had a flu test in my life.  And, covid has made me wonder if other viruses- perhaps including the flu- sometimes cause asymptomatic or super mild infections that you would not typically recognize.  Like, I say that I've never had the flu in my life, but I highly doubt I would have never tested positive for influenza if I was tested every day of my life.

No but if you have a fever, or a bad cough you are asked to stay at home till you get better.

Camp 4, although I support the right of private companies to impose vaccine mandates on their customers and/or employees.
