Here are the top 15 donors to Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign.
Given that Bernie Sanders believes that this means Hillary is bought and paid for by each and every one of these corporations (I believe the term of choice these days is "corporate Democratic whore"), what will the Hillary presidency look like?

Goldman Sachs
Microsoft Corp
JPMorgan Chase & Co
Google Inc
Citigroup Inc
Time Warner
Sidley Austin LLP
National Amusements Inc
Skadden, Arps et al
WilmerHale Llp
IBM Corp
UBS AG
General Electric
Morgan Stanley

I'm sure she even gets free cash registers from IBM Inc, so when she collections donations she gets the cha-ching effect.

You're aware that it's the employees, not the companies themselves, that donated to her campaign? This distinction seems to be frequently lost.

Wow, looks like she's deep in the pockets of big movie theater. No wonder she doesn't support free popcorn for all. What a corporate shill harpy bitch!

It would be nice to have a serious discussion about how we go about reforming the financing of campaigns, but I think this is neither the right group of people nor the proper forum for facilitating such a discussion...

This is probably a stupid question, but aren't these all individual employees grouped together by the corporation they work for? Can corporations give directly to a campaign?

It's individuals grouped by who they work for.....which shockingly tends to elevate larger and wealthy corporations to the top of the list. Go figure!

Alright, thanks. I wasn't trying to defend Clinton or anything, I just wanted to get some clarification to prevent me from embarrassing myself on the topic later.

No need to embarrass yourself when the Bernie cult is already hard at work doing so beforehand.

Well, people in tech are probably smart, so of course they'd support Hillary.

Aren't you running under the dangerous assumption that these folks are only giving money to Hillary? Based on the way things have worked in the past, money gets spread around a bit more than that...

Of course, but Clinton is getting a lot of it.

Sometimes employees are pressured to give. My partner Dan had that experience when working for a TV station. He was pressured to give to some Pub, and he doesn't do Pubs (well other then me, when I was a Pub Tongue ). He blew them off. He was let go a few months later. Was their causation? One wonders.

Gonna go out on a limb and say that's not what happened here.

Big corporations with a lot of employees that make a good salary that allows them to have the spare money to donate to campaigns. It would not be surprising if lists from the all the candidates were similar.
