As we all know, Matt Rosendale failed to unseat Jon Tester in 2018, and this has been attributed in part to Rosendale's out-of-state origins and accent, which were successfully exploited by Tester & the Democratic Party to their advantage.

There were three other candidates who vied for the Republican nomination for this race - Troy Downing, Russ Fagg, and Al Olszewski. Could any of these three candidates have gotten over the finish line against Tester in the general election?

IDK. Maybe another Republican would've won.
