Question is who`s the challenger. Looks like either Grooms or Bostic.

Could be a recount (less than 1%) given how close the race for second is. Ask TF about the candidates, I don't have a clue.

He's expected to win.

Name ID disparity between "Colbert's sister" and "Generic R"?

AP has called it for Sanford. Thanks for nothing, SC-1 Pubs!

Rothenberg reminds us that Colbert-Busch is still the underdog in a ruby-red district.

Now the GE will be needlessly tight, though I still think Sanford wins. One only hopes a) he doesn't stick around long b) he doesn't set his sights on statewide office.

Sanford's lame excuses. What a creep.

Per Peter Hamby, trespassing on Jenny's properties is a habit of Sanford's. Congrats to Congresswoman Colbert-Busch.

NRCC has pulled all support. Breaking. Remembering that Sanford can, and now must, self-finance. Though given how notoriously cheap the guy is... he used his cell instead of a flashlight when trespassing.

Tim Scott on whether he's supporting Sanford: "No comment." Now it all depends on turnout and whether Pubs return to the fold or stay home on E-Day. NRSC had been doing minimal work but had been considering whether to go all-in, that's over now.

Jenny Sanford saying that her sons were shocked at their dad bringing his fiancee to the victory party, one of them hadn't even met her before. D+1 indeed.

Wow, this sure made my day better.

They're weren't doing much anyways, more symbolic than anything.

We all knew that nominating Sandford was a horrible mistake for the Republicans, but could we have predicted that it would be this horrible?

No one knew that there'd be multiple Akin moments either, much less the original one.

Sure looks like ECB will have that seat for 18 months, and then Pubs can get a sane candidate.

Dear God: Sanford debated a cardboard cutout of Pelosi. Outdoors. Forget winning, I'm beginning to wonder if he's losing his marbles.

Specials are just that, specials. Remember when Bob Turner and Kathy Hochul were supposedly bellwethers on the Jewish vote and P2P respectively?

Nate Cohn on the race.

TF: Yeah, I remember Bauer from his 2010 races. Not terribly fond memories either. Tongue
