If Edwards holds off Clinton and finishes within 2-3 pts of Barack, would you call his campaign dead?  I don't think so b/c he beat the frontrunner.

Depends on whether or not he gets the endorsements in Nevada.

Now we need a decent finish, a clear first place none of this "three way tie" rubish that the Clinton campaign will look to spin!

Yes I would.  Obama is going to get a majority of the publicity over the next week, which will give him momentum going into the New Hampshire primaries.

Edwards needed to win first place.

Des Moines country was actually ALOT closer than I expected...but favored Obama of course.

Remember that Des Moines County doesn't contain the city of Des Moines. The city is in Polk County. Des Moines County is farther east, and is much more rural.

No; I think 2nd, over Clinton, is as good as possible.

This is not good for my girl.  Looks like she will finish a close 3rd, but still 3rd.  The momentum will be carried by Obama.

105 hours or so until the New Hampshire polls open.
