This means that the Line-Item Veto Amendment has passed with a majority of public support. I hereby declare the Constitution to be amended to contain the following:

Line-Item Veto Amendment

Section 1
Upon the passage of this amendment, the President of Atlasia will have line-item veto powers over all appropriations bills passed by the senate.

Section 2
A presidential veto of any portion of a bill may be overriden by a two-thirds vote of the senate.

Section 3
Any bill that has been altered by the President's use of the line-item veto must be approved by a majority vote of the senate before said bill may be signed into law.
