It seems PT came out to support joining a MFP-led government.  This will put pressure on the pro-military Senate to start talking to PT to try to form a grand coalition government.  As it is the Senate should be able to block this MFP-PT government formation.
Almost definitely a play to get the senate to beg for PT to form Government, I'd think.

A bit concerning with Matha's age but the arrangement otherwise does seem to be a good thing for coalition stability.

Thailand seems poised to become one of the next countries to enact marriage equality, assuming a civilian government gains power. Both the Move Forward party and the Pheu Thai party, who are in favor of this reform, form the possible future government.

There are definitely lots of structural challenges to overcome, especially with the military still holding significant self-appointed power. Despite these obstacles however, with the current political climate, it seems like one of the next countries in which it's a possibility at some point in the near future.

It's heartening to witness such progress. On top of other much-needed Democratic reforms that would likely come along with a civilian government.

Multiple sources now saying that this is in the works. Congrats if true, Thailand!

Surprised this is going through considering the military parties are in government but I guess it's not a big enough priority for them to try and go to a new election with their popularity still kinda down atm.
