Whoever takes this, I would be interested in attaching Jake Matthew's bill to this since they both amend the same thing.

It basically gives us the ability to shut the bill down in the absence of the RPP and JCP, without needing to have a Presidential signature.

Why should we ban caucuses, just because they aren't currently in use? Would we ban political parties if there was only one active party and everyone else were indies?

Will an amendment be forthcomming to modify this bill to repeal the Caucus infrastructure and Formation act? If such isn't present by tomorrow, I shall move to open a final vote.

We don't have a sponsor, do you want it then since you are re-writing the bill?

Senators have 72 hours to object to assumption of sponsorship by Senator Scott.

Senators have 24 hours to object to the sponsor originated amendment by Senator Scott.

And yes, I can do this because Bacon King did it back in 2010, once. Tongue

We can have a final vote if someone requests it, any time after 9:58 PM EST. Provided no one speaks on the bill itself, before I open the vote. Tongue

Miss counted here on Saturday, thought there was only five and I prefer not to be the deciding vote if it makes the difference between abrubtly ending a vote or not.

Aye

Vote on Final Passage of The Caucus Infrastructure and Formation Act Repeal Act:

Aye (7): Alfred F. Jones, Clarence, ilikeverin, NC Yankee, Sbane, Scott and TJ in Cleve
Nay (0):
Abstain(0):

Didn't Vote (2): Nathan and Pingvin99

With seven votes in the affirmative and none in the negative this has passed the Senate and is presented to the President for executive action.
