Murder ends a life, child molesting just ruins one.

But more people commit suicide through child abuse than for any other reason.

1.) Nobody commits suicide after they are murdered... but there's a good reason for this.
2.) I don't think child molestation is fine, I put it after only war crimes and murder, meaning I think it's pretty damn bad.

Fair enough.

I just hold the opinion that child molesters should be executed within a month as they are waste of time and effort. Bring back starvation!!!!!!

War crimes are nt too bad in my opinion. I think its because i've read alot of history and the things people do to win wars are totally barbaric. Every nation does it, less so now because of the media. Can you imagine the meida if hiroshima happened tomorrow?Huh?

When you are at war and you believe your sid eis doing good you must do everything to win. If its war crimes so be it. but if you win then fair game with me. but it is very bad.

No jail - death instead
Murder
Rape
War Crimes
Child Molesting

No jail - other punishment
Manslaughter
Identity Fraud + Theft
Adultery
Drink driving
Assault (duh, sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me -- assault shouldn't be a crime really)
Breaking and Enterring (possible jail for repeated offenders)

1.) War Crimes (could be 2 or less as well, depends on context)
2.) Murder
3.) Child Molestation
4.) Rape (ranks very close if not the same to child molestation)
5.) Manslaughter
6.) Identity Fraud & Theft
7. Breaking and Entering
9.) Assault
10.) Drunk Driving

Adultery should not get a jail sentence, but should be grounds for divorce.

I agree with this; I just did not specify that when I posted my list because I ranked them more "which crime is the worst" than "what gets the longest jail sentence."  Though aside from adultery, my lists on those two subjects are the same.

Murder = 1
Manslaughter = 5
Rape = 4
Identity Fraud + Theft = 6
War Crimes = 2
Child Molesting = depends on definition somewhat, I'm assuming Rape of a Prepubescent here. In that case, 3 (the same goes for some of the others, especially war crimes which is also a phrase very open to interpretation - I'm always assuming the worst.)
Adultery = 10
Assault = 7
Drink driving = 9
Breaking and Enterring = 8

I don't think non violent crimes should be given jail sentences

examples:
Child Molesting
Adultery
Drink driving
Breaking and Enterring

except perhaps identity theft because that is pretty
serious

I would consider Child Molestation to be a violent crime.

It doesn't make sense to me to see an 18 year old girl sleeping with a 17 year old boy as a violent person.
I would not consider that as child molestation, as nobody involved is a child and nobody involved was molested....I know there's lawyers disagreeing with me here...
