Rutherford B Hayes (1876), James G Blaine (1884), Benjamin Harrison (1888) all would have won (both NPV and EC) if not for unconstitutional voter suppression laws throughout many Southern States aimed at African Americans.

Al Gore would have won the EC if not for the butterfly ballot being illegally used in a partisan method to steal votes away from him in Florida.

Hillary Clinton would have won the EC if not for Russian cyber hackers illegally editing the vote counts in WI, MI, PA, FL, AZ, and NC.

Combine these and we never truly had a real EC/NPV split.

Also, I support a one state solution in Israel/Palestine. Give Palestinians equal rights and try to replace religious based identity with one identity based on equal membership of the state of Israeopalestine. It's rediculous and primitive to have such tribalism. Separate but equal is never acceptable.

What Al Franken did (kiss & touch other people in inappropriate parts without consent) does not decrease my opinion of him since a vast majority of adults; both men and women, have done such a thing at some point in their lives.  I would be more surprised to be told by an omniscient that any particular random person had not done such a thing than to hear that they had done such a thing.  More so, he was in the small minority who was outed as doing such.

(Please note that of course, in many of these cases, the victim is the perpetrators child)

I probably shouldn't say this, but I do have a VERY unpopular opinion...
Viewing child porn should not be illegal, however obviously making or distributing it should be highly illegal as it already is.

What the  is wrong with you?! If there is demand for something, people will produce more of it.

There will always be a demand for this kind of thing, as repulsive as it is.

And if you make consumption legal, demand will only go up. Legalizing consumption of underage porn would open the floodgates, perhaps not of like, pedophile child porn, but for shady foreign-produced porn of girls in their mid teens.

If someone is to commit the crime of rape or murder, the age of the victim should not be a factor in the criminal penalty.  The penalty should be the same regardless of whether the victim was a child or an adult.

We need to lower corporate tax rates. The United States has one of the highest corporate tax rates in the world, and if we want to become more competitive with the rest of the world (namely Europe), we should lower our corporate tax rates.

- The Confederacy was within their rights to secede. I believe they should've been allowed to be sovereign and free from the Union.

- Germany/The Central Powers should've won World War I.

Child support is an extremely broken and rigged system, so that is not something that should be held against anyone.  My only gripe is that he eventually paid it off anyways, instead of taking a principled stand against the system.

Child support is an extremely broken and rigged system, so that is not something that should be held against anyone.  My only gripe is that he eventually paid it off anyways, instead of taking a principled stand against the system.

What are these problems then?

How about this case where someone was determined to owe huge amounts of back child support accrued during time they were in prison (on death row after a wrongful murder conviction) that they were unable to pay due to the circumstances

How about this case where someone was determined to owe child support for a child that was born without their permission (after they were lied to about the usage of birth control and about genetic infertility)

How about this case where someone who was a victim of rape was determined to owe child support for a child born as a result of the rape

As long as cases like these exist, I think we would be better off as a society getting rid of child support systems altogether than to have cases like these continuing to exist.

Yes, these cases are rare, but the depravity of what happened in each of these cases is immense enough to make me think we would be better off ending the entire thing overall.

If an insufficient number of people are willing to voluntarily sign up for a nations military during wartime/too many people in the military engaging in desertion, for the Country to defend itself, then the Country in question absolutely deserves to lose the war, because it means that the population in the Country are in disagreement with the rational the Country used to get itself involved in the war.

Not only is refusing to stand for the national anthem (or similar protests) acceptable, not participating in these protests is the real un-patriotic thing to do since the national anthem was very poorly picked to the point where it becomes a national embarrassment.

The anthem is basically a celebration of events in an extremely pointless war that the United States never should have gotten itself involved in (the participation in which ran directly counter to the contemporary interests of the United States).
