Siege, I define populism as being "socially and economically authoritarian"; that's the purest descriptor I've managed to come up with.

Ebowed is mainly populist in philosophy only, not ideology.

That's a good way to describe me. Populist in philosophy, libertarian-leaning politically.

I'm also a bit more libertarian in practice than in belief. (You can look at my Senate record on spending cuts and general social moderatism).
