Gov. Rick Perry (TX) - Came to my high school in 2005 to present an award or something and I watched him talk from the front row (because of assigned seating, not enthusiasm). I never actually got to shake his hand or anything though.

Kinky Friedman (TX) - Met him twice during the 2006 governor's race and once while he was running for ag commissioner in 2014. Had a great time at all three events.

Lt. Gov Dan Patrick (TX) - We met in 2014, we didn't hit it off. Enough said.

Charlie Crist (FL) - Met him sometime after he dropped out of the Republican primary to run as an independent in 2010. I found him kind of awkward, but a nice guy overall.
