...What would be the pros and cons of each of the ten tickets below:

Gore/Brown (OH)
Gore/Casey (PA)
Gore/Webb (VA)
Gore/Warner (VA)
Gore/Kaine (VA)
Gore/Vilsack (IA)
Gore/Richardson (NM)
Gore/Schweitzer (MT)
Gore/Tester (MT)
Gore/Manchin (WV)

And these five, too, although it's quite clear what the pros and cons would be for these:

Gore/Obama (IL)
Gore/Nelson (FL)
Gore/Reid (NV)
Gore/Bayh (IN)
Gore/Biden (DE)

Well, lets knock off a few of those.

Brown, Casey, Webb, Kaine, Schweitzer, Tester, Obama.  Those people you have picked will have either just served one term, or not even a full term by the time of the elections. They would probably lose their respective states, because the voters are a little peeved.

Warner would be key to helping pick up the south, and would do much better at it than Gore would.

Vilsack doesn't do much expect pick up Iowa.

Richardson adds the midwest, and foreign affairs expertiese.

Manchin doesn't do much either.

As for the other ones, they are all blah. The only ones who would accept a Veep spot is probably Obama, and Nelson.  When your a current member of the Senate, going to the VP spot is sometimes not a promotion, and being on a ticket with Gore, who knows.

Obama is overrated, and Nelson would probably lose Florida in the election. The only reason he won by so much is because that dingbat Harris ran against him.

Gore/Brown (OH)
Don't know much about Brown but theres a good chance that the Republicans messed up OH so badly that you already have that state.

Gore/Casey (PA)
It's like Dan Quayle all over again... You'd only pick him if you were worried about losing PA

Gore/Webb (VA)
An interesting ticket Webb seems like he could be an attack dog so this would be a good choice..

Gore/Warner (VA)
Same deal.

Gore/Kaine (VA)
I know nothing about Kaine

Gore/Vilsack (IA)
Could be a good choice he might help sure up the mid west. Though from what I've heard there is little chance that Vilsack can do well in his own state in the primaries so probably not the best choice

Gore/Richardson (NM)
Might help in AZ, NM, CO, and TX if it were not for the scandals he had in the Clinton years he'd be a perfect candidate.

Gore/Schweitzer (MT)
Honestly I don't know much about him.

Gore/Tester (MT)
Bad choice you have bigger things to worry about than MT

Gore/Manchin (WV)
Don't know much about him.

Gore/Obama (IL)
This is like putting the robot from Lost in space on a ticket with James Bond it isn't a good idea for a ticket to be so buttom heavy (Kerry/Edwards anyone?)

Gore/Nelson (FL)
Good choice the ticket is balanced and its someone from a swing state.

Gore/Reid (NV)
see above

Gore/Bayh (IN)
Very interesting, the reps could lose Ind in this race.

Gore/Biden (DE)
Not a balanced ticket at all. You own the northeast and you've just made the ticket go off the cliff in the liberal direction.
