lets count some votes before gloating.

if she loses 55-43...that is survivable.

Clinton needs to start winning by margins like that to have a chance at the pledged delegates.

Well 54-45 would be the worst possible. If she's going to lose, I'd rather it be a blowout and start to end this damn thing.

It's not good though. Not good at all. She could have lost 70-30 and it still would have been "survivable" with these people. She's in until the very end but this certainly doesn't help.

Wisconsin was her "firewall" to block any of Obama's momentum going into March 4th....a 12 point loss is only going to make it worse. This ontop of a loss in Hawaii [tho I guess she still has a chance there] is a big blow.

I take it you're trying to make a juxtaposition, here, not saying that we can directly compare the group in the two states...

CNN just added a lot more results to their exit poll, putting Clinton in the lead among women but widening the gender gap immensely. (Obama now leads 66-32 among men while Clinton leads 51-49 among women.) That gives 56.6-42.8.

The new exit poll results also substantially reduced the elderly vote from 39% to 28%.

And the race just got harder for Clinton.... good. Hopefully, Obama has learned from his past campaigns so that he makes more inroads among the white working class, one demographic that could swing to him.

Wow, she got her clock cleaned!

Haha, never trust results with 0% in. Often California will have some right-wing part of Orange county report first. I remember that after they called California for Gore, Bush was up something like 20 points in the first results.

As always, it's important in a state like Wisconsin to wait until some votes are counted.  But a result like this is not surprising.

Milwaukee absentees come in first, with the 321-200 result.. Tongue

I remember a hilarious Free Republic thread where DeWine led with 0% in and the Freepers were screaming about how obvious it was that the polls were so off and they always benefit Democrats.

Um... McCain is a horrible speaker. Like, Christ. Not only is his sentence construction abysmal and confusing, he doesn't understand how to control a crowd like Obama or even Clinton to an extent. And his jokes suck.

I guess he's speaking so early so that he doesn't compare unfavorably to Obama again...

I'd imagine it's the same thing as "Uncommitted" - any "Uninstructed" delegates simply vote as they like at the convention.

I think they changed the numbers a bit. Huge gender gap, Clinton up 3 points with women, and Obama up 34 points with men. A 37 point gender gap.
