Biden is not criticized for getting along with a republican. He is criticized for publicly supporting him and giving him great ads material in a very close race that could have had an impact on the control of the House and, then, ignoring the local Democratic campaign when they asked him to help them fix that.

No one who voted to repeal the ACA can be considered a champion in the fight against cancer. At best, they can be considered a champion in the fight against cancer for people who can afford it.
