Ciattarelli takes a 3-point lead again, Murphy at 64%.

Murphy with 60% in Essex County (Newark). Decision Desk calls it for Murphy.

Murphy will win, but the margin will probably continue to narrow. Guadagno is favored, but I wouldn't call this one yet.

This can be called for Guadagno at this point. Sad

D+1.

Murphy is a perfect fit for NJ, and I don't see Guadagno having enough crossover appeal (or any crossover appeal at all, for that matter) to win. Christie only won because of Corzine's low approval ratings in 2009 anyway.

Nothing against her, but she's way too low energy. I feel like the NJ GOP should have gone with Ciattarelli. He wouldn't have won, but it would have been closer for sure.

Doesn't matter now though Guadagno has a extremely early vote lead of 58-38%

Badly underperforming in this heavy R county, though.
