Americans trying to look cool by speaking comically bad Spanish are the worst thing in the world.

Also, words spelled without the tilde - even worse than French word spelled without accents...

Some Mexican nationalist type t-shirt I saw on a dude in a pancake house once informed that "Latino" was someone if Italian descent (trying to clarify that Mexicans should identify as Mexican), and I've self-identified as Latino ever since.

Well, a real Latino is an Italian who comes from/lives in the region neighboring Rome (Latium). It does make sense to use Latino in a broader sense, but the term includes not only Hispanics but also Italians and maybe the French too.

So, that makes me technically Latino too. Tongue

To be fair, he may not be able to do the tile on his computer - I know I can't.

Unless you memorize the alt+number combo or look up a word that contains it to copy, correct. I think this is a little nitpicky.

To be fair to Antonio, he probably uses AZERTY keyboards which make it much easier to add accents to letters.

Yup, French keyboards do have the tilde, for some reasoñ.
