Wow, turnout is very strong. It hasn't even been 12 hours and already 33 votes.

Makes you wonder what the Pres. election will be like.

Turnout after two days of voting is now 91% of total turnout in the April elections. It's slowed considerably, but I think we're still on track to beat April's General Election numbers. Smiley

I'm hoping to top 80, maybe even 90, for the Presidential election.

     I think Barnes's vote is also valid. The voting booth instructions say that you must be a valid registered voter before or on June 11th. As of 10:45 PM EST on June 11th, he had registered in Atlasia & had obtained 25 posts.

A curious situation. Did he properly register once he obtained 25 posts? Or does that not matter?

     Look here. Andy Jackson voted, but you cannot see his post in the thread. This voting booth must be cursed.

That's strange. I vaguely recall seeing an I-TX avatar in the actual voting booth last night. I wonder why it would no longer appear there...

Well, I don't think anyone would object if Andy re-posted his ballot.

I originally thought what Lewis said, that perhaps it fell within the 20 minutes rule, but if the 2nd vote was deleted after 20 minutes then that would probably be illegal...

What a confusing situation. I'd say there's a good chance it will at least affect the Midwest Senate race. Undecided

The June 2008 Presidential election had 43 votes.

Two hours after the opening of the general, June 2009 already has 49. Smiley

Good thing we don't use the electoral college.

Heh heh, by my count you're actually leading in three regions, so maybe not? Wink

Mideast = 10-4 PiT-Lief
Midwest = 7-8
Northeast = 8-12
Pacific = 4-9-1
Southeast = 9-1

Kyle just invalidated his vote by voting in both booths...

This could be the most interesting election controversy since Florida in 2000.

October 2005? Wink

Emsworth and Joe Republic in the final round. Only thing is I would say 75% (90% even) of the current voters in Atlasia aren't familiar with that. They probably don't know Yates, Ben Meyers, or JerusalemCar either.

Ford dropping out in the middle of the Feb. 2006 election was also an interesting occurrence.

It definitely reminds me of February 2006...

Oh No! 4 months of this party again!

Why are you so conservative?

Listen, I can tell you're pretty young. I would guess 14 or 15. My Presidency is the only one you've known, so I find your labeling me of "bad" amusing.

I'm merely curious as to why you seem so conservative. You want a Democratic Party so badly, but I've yet to see you act like a Democrat even once...

Zombie Voters:

Fritz: 17
DWTL: 6

DWTL would really win easy without the JCP super zombies.
I would be interested in the methodology used here. I see only one of your "seventeen". Actually, I only see three or so of your six, either.

Never posting in fantasy politics except during votes.

Fritz: Tender, Lunar, Eraserhead, Rosetta Stoned, Flyers, BRTD, px75, sbane, Daniel Z, opebo, ringorules, Andy Jackson, Holmes, Smash, Isof, Ogre Mage

DWTL: Ronnie, Torie, Mechaman, GM3, CindyWho and JewishConservative.

Why should us mere voters post anything in these fourms but votes?  We're not the elected elite, after all.  There's no Senate for us to debate things in.

Well, apparently you're not a zombie voter...

I think Fritz probably got the most first preferences of any candidate in any election.
