Baseball is still the most diverse sport in America. Fact.
Basketball and Football are over 70 percent Black.
Hockey is like 80 percent white or even more than that.
Baseball has Latinos, Whites, Asians and Black people---America.
Yes, Baseball faced an embarrassing World Series last year (2022)-with no African American players on either the Houston Astros or Philadelphia Phillies roster--for the first time since 1950. The only AA representation was manager Dusty Baker who won the championship and became the second AA manager to win a World Series (Cito Gaston was first in '92 and '93).
It's still the most diverse sport in America. It's just too boring for this generation and the average age is like 57, so not young at all.
