No (D), this is a horrific idea, that would hurt workers the most, and dis-advantaged urban areas. We can see this happening in the UK and other countries. A nation with multicultural, and multi-ethnic vibrancy can only work in the confines of controlled immigration, immigration to deal with the country's needs, and immigrants that contribute to society

A nation-state is an important aspect, but I wouldn't expect white Europeans, who ruined that idea through imperialism and colonialism to understand.

I don't know why this is morally questionable.

I was referring to you and wolfentoad.

You know how some black south Africans supported the Bantustans cause they benefited from it?

I don't know, what point you're trying to make, more so due to my stupidity, but anyway.

I would like to see how anyone who voted Yes can justify themselves morally.

I thought I already did. What part of what I said do you not get? Restrictive immigration policies have a tendency to result in aging the general population. Japan has very strict immigration laws and the country is aging. Unless they change their immigration laws or somehow drive up the birth rate, they won't be a major power in the next 50 years. They are projected to lose 25% of their current population within the next 35 years.

Really not that much of a problem, if a society has jobs and technology with it. Controlled immigration of students (might) temporarily fix the problem, but a aging population is not inherently bad, sometimes a sign that a society has been successful.

There's a way to increase the birth rate, have more kids.

This is also utterly dumb.

That remark about being a liberal at 20 and a conservative at 40 seems relevant here.

Not this fycking sh*t again.
