The House GOP is going to be completely unmanageable after the next election. I mean, House Republicans already effectively don't have a majority, but seats combined the the retirements of a number of moderate members is going to exacerbate the current problems considerably.

What makes them the 'Freedom' caucus?  Other than they can give themselves any propagandist name they like.

Nothing, they're batty.

Jim Jordan, founder of the HFC, is my Congressman, ATM, and he's awful. At least one new member will be from Ohio. Warren Davidson, who will be replacing Boehner, was one of his personal recruits.

Considering the Freedom Caucus has sided overwhelmingly with Cruz over trump, I personally welcome this development.

I would like to agree with your logic, but i don't see how a substitution of one idiot by another one improves situation...

Turner, Tiberi, and Johnson are the three Main Street Republicans of Ohio's Reps., right? Which of them is best, in your opinion?

Of those three? Tiberi, though for rather personal reasons. That said, he's also got the most room to maneuver to the right, given the partisanship of his district, and he's stayed relatively moderate. So I appreciate that.

Joyce, Renacci, and Stivers are also members, BTW. Tiberi's still probably my favorite, though.
