Did you read the actual full article, in the non-fiction section?  I only think it would be a good thing, because it would create divided government for the next two years at least.  Carly Fiorina is a joke, but Fiorina > Boxer, IMO.

Having the Republicans in control of Congress and the Presidency held by a Democrat would prevent either party from passing agenda bills.  Though, as I said in the full article, we aren't completely safe.

Boxer voted against the Iraq war, I think that she would vote against a Iran war.

Would Jokerina?

We can't be sure that Congressional Democrats will be opposed to war, should the war drums begin beating once again.  Especially in the case of Iran, which poses an imaginary threat to Israel -- a country loved by everyone in Congress.

I'm sure Jokerina would vote to go to war.  I know she'd probably be a damn chickenhawk, but I don't think it's going to make a difference in regard to foreign intervention, which party has a majority.

A Republican was president then. If Obama is president, Boxer is voting for the Iran war.

Ron Paul needs something like the Godwin Law. Mention Ron Paul and lose 83% of your credibility, perhaps?
