As has been said before, opebo was quite knowledgeable and offered key insight into American race relations and police brutality.

Coming from someone who was opposed to opebo's original banning...please let it go already.

No actually. I am not fond of Manichean, unidimensional views of complex issues. The world does not work like that.

Yes, actually. A note of levity directed at a very dire situation can be a good thing.

Tweed's perspective is actually more interesting.

No, and this is what I don't understand about the Opedo supporters. He didn't actually offer any insight on anything that wasn't Thai politics. On American stuff it was all "blah blah guillotine, blah blah bad place", over and over again.

Your conversion into BRTD 2.0 is coming along nicely HockeyGuy.  How do you feel about suburbs?

No, of course not, his "contributions" would be superfluous and monotonous.  I agree with Maxwell that Tweed already fills the niche he would try to occupy, but with far more intelligence and sincerity.

I enjoyed his comments in many threads, but there was no particular subject I couldn't wait to hear from him on, so no.

That said, wish he was back.

thank you.  I learned a lot from opebo, though I try to listen more than he ever did.  he had the right instincts on most major social problems, but lacked the patience or interest to learn more about the world.

I'm not perfect in the latter regard either, and I try not to pretend I have all of the answers, when I don't, though I think I am better than most people at asking the right questions, locating the real source of social problems, while MSM and the entire liberal edifice are so dedicated to obfuscating.

That's right, "2.0" typically signifies an improved version of the original.
