O'malley was a stronger candidate than Hillary, with Benghazi scandal, he would have done much better in WI, MI and PA

Rubio wins MN and NM, but not New Hampshire that Trump only lost by 0.3?  Don't buy it.

A lot would depend on VP nominees, I think, but this is a good starting map.

Eerie similarities to 2000 and 2004.

I found O'Malley to be an amazingly awful candidate who lacked command presence on the stump.

To the degree the race would have been about personalities, Rubio would have likely prevailed.

O'Malley had the personality and charm of a gluten-free rice cracker.  Rubio wins hands-down.

O'Malley's draconian law enforcement priorities were what powered his entire political career, so it's very hard to imagine progressives and minority voters turning out for him, and his public image was clearly lacking on other fronts. Rubio can better harness the discontent of the time and wins modestly, but probably with a map closer to 2000 or 2004 than 2016.

I liked O'malley and he should of would have won, but Bill Clinton's was all about Loretta Lynch not letting her out from under Hillary and Acquitting her of Benghazi prove

O'malley had a connection to Afro Americans and we lost 3 SCOTUS judges due to Hillary
