OPEN- Democratic Governorships.
KS-(OPEN-Parkinson-D)- Republican pickup due to top tier Republican candidate-(US Senator Sam Brownback-R) and third tier Democratic candidate.
ME-(OPEN-Baldacci-D)- Democratic retention- Maine is a blue state.
MI-(OPEN-Granholm-D)- Republican pickup- due to bad economy- and 8 years of Democrats controlling the Governorship.- Mik Cox-R
NM-(OPEN-Richardson-D)-Democratic retention- Blue State,top tier Democratic candidate- LG Diane Denish-D vs weak GOP candidate- Heather Wilson-R.
OK-(OPEN-Henry-D)- Republican pickup- Red State. Mary Fallin-R defeats Drew Edmondson-D
OR-(OPEN-Kulongoski-D)-Democratic retention- Blue State- Top Tier Democratic candidate- John Kitzhaber-D
PA-(OPEN-Rendell-D)- Republican pickup- due to change. Democrats controlled the governorship for 8 years.
TN-(OPEN-Bredesen-D)-Republican pick up- red state.
WI-(OPEN-Doyle-D)- Democratic retention due to top tier Democratic candidates.
WY-possible OPEN-Freudenthal-D Republican pickup red state.



I doubt Oklahoma will be a Republican pickup.  Lt Gov. Jari Askins is in a good position right now.  It will be close, but I think Askins will win.
