We can't win this election period.  The JCP is easily going to steamroll anyone.  Our party does not need your support at all.  We never will

There is no winning this election. We understand that. We both know that we need a unified front if we want to defeat the left, as you and I have discussed in the past, but now we're splintered. We all need each other, but I'm convinced, now more than ever, that you're just here to mess around, tick people off, and reek havoc, and if anyone else joins you for the ride, then all the better.

Kaljewi is will win this election in a landslide. There's no question about it.

Uh, folks. Not to dampen all the enthusiasm here BUT:

The Supreme Court has not ruled on RowanBrandon's appeal;

As his sentence is stayed pending outcome of the appeal, he currently remains a senator;

There currently is no vacant Senate seat nor will there be if the Supreme Court rules in RB's favor.

Simply put I think we ALL need to hold our horses and these campaigns put on hold until when and if there actually is a vacancy.

Methinks the SOIA SoFA goofed mightily in announcing a special election to fill a vacancy that currently doesn't exist, and may not come to be at all.

Fixed.

Depends on how Mint does. It's likely that ARC second preferences could go to Franzl or afleitch, you know.

If anything, it seems that the "strong party" climate of a few months ago is starting to weaken. I'm not saying it will be an easy feat for the DA, nor have I crunched the numbers, but our members are free to run for whichever office they choose and vote according to their conscience. As party Deputy Leader, I'll work my hardest to ensure that any and all DA candidates win their respective races.

The election is very crowded and he has the baggage of recent prosecution.

After putting much thought into it, I've decided to run for an at-large Senate seat this December.

As far as running for reelection goes, the gubernatorial election in the Midwest starts a week after the national one does, so if I do not win a Senate seat, I'll probably run for reelection. But until then, I won't declare anything.

I believe you mean the SoFA, that does not fall under my area of jurisdiction.

You did the right thing. Take the next few months, continue to rebuild you reputation and try for something in Feb or April.
