MASPAC would be happy to sponsor the debate, and I'd moderate if it's alright with the candidates.

I'm happy for you to moderate MAS117 Smiley but we'll need Bono's agreement

In the meantime, Bono and I have informally reached agreement on the following debate format (subject to his final agreement):

Tuesday (13.00 -15.00, EST)

Moderator questions:

1) 3 - questions, which are the same;
2) 2 - questions, which are candidate specific. If time allows, you can ask another specific question

Wednesday (13.00 -15.00, EST)

Bono and I will  take open questions from the floor taking alternate turns until such time as the debate is closed

District 4 Electors

Please not that this depends on Bono's final agreement on the format and on MAS117's offer to moderate and, if approved, MAS117's agreement on the format

I haven't heard from Bono or MAS117 yet and they don't seem to be online yet, I'll be around until 15.30 (EST) or so - but we may need to reschedule over Wednesday or Thursday

They could be encountering computer clitches Sad at the moment - but Bono and I agreed a debate and, all being well, that's exactly what you're gonna get Smiley

Bono and I are here. Not sure what's happened to MAS117 though. He was here but it would seem he's gone

How about if you each just tell the voters why you deserve their votes?

Sorry, guys I was not aware that you wanted the debate to be during the day. I have to work this week, so you might want to find someone else. My apologies. Why doesn't Q moderate?

D4 Senate Debate

Bono and I have agreed to a Debate, whereby we will ask each other 4 questions. MAS117 is unable to moderate because of work commitments

The Debate will commence at 13.00 (EST) 7/12/05 and remain open for 24 hours

Once we have addressed each other's questions, for the remaining duration of the debate we will take questions from the Forum

Many thanks,

Dave Smiley

My question for the candidates: What is your position on the President's voting reform proposals?
