A few days ago some reporter on MSNBC (I think) mentioned in passing that Clinton spent $50k on Guam.  He was making the point that her campaign was still working to maximize delegates and hadn't totally pivoted to the general.  Not sure what they spent it on or if Sanders spent anything.

If true, that would be completely nonsensical. 50k in Guam and $0 in Indiana?

$50K in Guam is a much better investment.  It would have taken a couple million to move the needle in Indiana, $50K in Guam has the potential of flipping the race.

Another update with about 400 ballots left to count since there were approximately 1400 votes cast:

HRC 596, BS 422

Looks like it will be a 4-3 Delegate split.

Wasn't Guam directly electing delegates, too?  Which matters for the Democrats, then?  Who won the beauty contest vote or which delegates won the most votes?

As with all Democratic contests, the beauty contest is what matters.

So what happens if 7 Clinton-supporting delegates win the delegate contest?  Do 3 have to agree to support Sanders on the first ballot or not go to the convention?

I believe the 4 Clinton Supporters with the highest vote totals and the top 3 Sanders supporters  will be the delegates. As a rule Democratic candidates have much more say on who their actual delegates are than Republican candidates.
