Yeah, raising the minimum wage in order to find an excuse for firing his employees?

I recognize the Ol'Massachussetts moderate who loved to destroy companies in order to make massive gains!

Not only that, but back in 2012 he advocated making the minimum wage increase with inflation as well.

Is it bad that a very small part of me wishes Romney were president right now just for the political theatre that would inevitably come from this?

No, because obviously he would never say such a thing if he were President.

Romney is pragmatic to a fault.

What's the most politically-convenient way to close the budget deficit and generate a bit more FICA tax revenue? Raise the minimum wage. Run-of-the-mill establishment type. Sad, I thought he was the negative-income-tax-type, but I guess he was just HW Part Deux. Better than Obama?

Ted Kennedy really nailed it when he called him multiple choice.

Wow, he might actually run again. There's literally no other reason why he would come out and say this.

Because he knows the Tea Party will crucify him over this, ergo he doesn't want to run again and actively trying to put that rumor to bed?

At least so far in this year's primaries, the Tea Party has suffered from a distinct lack of wood, nail, thorns, and spears.
