Well, I was using the term "guyfriend" here because me and Tommy weren't official, but I'm happy to report that we're now boyfriends. So happy. Smiley And only two more weeks until I'm back in Kingston...!
Congrats Hagrid, and I'm happy to announce that I'm talking to a guy now also.

Today, a teacher who I greatly admired and looked up to died of cancer.  He departed about 2 hours ago and I am in total shock right now.  I know many of you don't believe in god, but if you do, can you include my school Westside and his family in your prayers.

I have some news.  A few weeks ago, I found out that I had a benign brain tumor.  At that point, I also found out that I had high cholesterol, and I was obese.  I have for the past few weeks been going through a diet and have so far lost about 10 pounds.  I just needed to get this off of my chest.

Congratulations!!! Have you come out to your family yet? If they're accepting, would you bring a Democrat home? If they're not, just remember: you were born this way, this wasn't a choice you made. So happy for you!!
No, I haven't, but I know my dad will support me through this.  And I will most definitely be bringing a democrat home for christmas this year.

Enjoying the night with my boyfriend, while at the same time judging people's dresses on facebook.  My prom is being held tonight, and I instead wanted to hang out with my guy.

So, I just moved to Vancouver for school. The avatar change is jarring, but it is what it is. I'm already loving the city.
I here that it's nice.  My Aunt says the climate can be hard though.  Also good luck to you.

I also start class later today, but while looking at the syllabus for my online Intro to Us Goverment, I found this assignment.

For the record, this says way more than it needs to:

This is exactly why I'm getting a degree in both poly sic and Us History.

U.S. history is even less employable than a political science degree...
Know several places where I can get a job teaching.
