Orange County, CA. Isn't the whole county nothing but suburbs?

I looked up this city. I don't get it. What's so bad about the place?

I looked up this city. I don't get it. What's so bad about the place?

(skip me, next person)

1-It's populist-leaning
2-It's very cold
3-It has lots of run-down areas and somewhat high crime (not high by most standards but fairly high compared to most suburban areas)

Basically it's the most opposite I could think of for a libertarian suburban kid from Georgia.

Also the economy is pretty much all blue collar stuff which makes it even more opposite if where you live is like everywhere else around Atlanta.

It actually doesn't sound like it'd be too bad of a place. I'm not too picky about where I live.

Cook, Illinois

(don't ask why.  bullmoose hasn't really region bashed and he's pretty non-partisan and non-ideological, so there's really not anything good I could come up with)
