Crappy poll indeed. Obama ahead everywhere: Indiana by 10 points, Ohio by 12 points, Michigan by 22 (!) points, Minnesota by 19 points, Iowa by 13 points, Pennsylvania by 11 points, Illinois by 29 points, Wisconsin by 13 points.

I bet those people where playing with the pollster LOL.

These have Tom Bradley written all over them.

The Iowa poll I can see , but up 10 in strong red IN is crazy.

Never read maliciousness into what can be explained by sheer incompetence.

If it existed, the Bradley effect would be approximately uniform across polls, and not solely in absurd results like this one.

To be fair, only Indiana and Ohio seem well off base. Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois and Pennsylvania look solid compared to other polls, and Minnesota and Michigan are at least defensible.

Well, they tell a pretty different story from their polls of Sep. 18

Minnesota: Obama 57 (+10); McCain 38 (-7)

Iowa: Obama 52 (+7); McCain 39 (-6)

Wisconsin: Obama 53 (+8); McCain 40 (-4)

Illinois: Obama 61 (+8); McCain 32 (-5)

Indiana: Obama 51 (+8); McCain 41 (-6)

Michigan: Obama 58 (+10); McCain 36 (-8)

Ohio: Obama 53 (+7); McCain 41 (-4)

Pennsylvania: Obama 52 (+7); McCain 41 (-4)

Man, if I thought for a second that these were real, I'd probably take acid and run down the street naked for the sake of the celebration.

zoooooewwwhee that's what I call a poll dump.  I'm really doubting these numbers, but I woudln't say they are inconceivable at this point.  I cant think of an election since 1932 occurring so close to a stock plunge.  So I'm not buying it, but wouldn't be shocked if something like this happened.

The trends are interesting, considering that these polls weren't so Obama friendly last time they were in the field.

Polling simply was not this bad in 2008.

There really needs to be a pollster rating organization, because these results are absurd.
