The bill makes it clear that you can run for only one office, unless I’m mistaken.

Yeah, my interpretation of the law is that you can only run for one office. Part of the reason we changed the rules is that people were using Parliament as an office to fall back on if they lose another election (and that inevitably resulted in many vacancies).

The way it reads implies "one office, unless..."

Quote
provided that they are not candidates for more than one (1) election, Regional or Federal, that occurs on the same weekend

So this part is basically "In general, one candidacy only"

Quote
except if a candidate for the House of Commons should also be a candidate (excluding write-in candidacies) for another office under this commonwealth or the Republic of Atlasia (other than the presidency or vice presidency)

This part seems to modify the previous to state that a House of Commons candidate can run for one, and only one, other office, as long as said other office is not the presidency or vice presidency.

This does seem to be how it's been enforced previously: https://talkelections.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=494795.0 (Peebs is a candidate for HoC and only one other office)

To make it über-super-dooper-clear for any on who is unable to understand context and/or the English language, I am running for reelection as the Senator for the Deep South. Which I am on the official ballot for.

Who was even questioning it?

I'm running for President, whenever the election is.

BTW, is there a schedule for elections anywhere? I forgot when the Fremont Assembly Election was, so I lost.

Due to the pathetically small field of 8 candidates for 9 seats, running for at-large, or accepting write-ins if too late to declare.

Declaring a candidacy for at-large senate to prevent a known pest to society from being elected senator

Whatever. You aren't eligible to vote for yourself, so you're at a pretty inherent disadvantage

Forming an "exploratory committee" for the purpose of a possible Lincoln governor's run.

Dropping out of the governor's race, and running for Lincoln General Court.

I'll be running for Lincoln Governor.

There are up to three upcoming elections for LGC. Please clarify which ones you are running in.

a) The Special Election to Replace Pyro,
b) The possible Special Election to Replace Christian Man,
c) The next regular elections in April

As this special will no longer occur, do you wish to declare for the special to replace Chalice?

Per Article I Section 6 of the Lincoln Constitution, I'm under the impression that my appointment to a seat will expire in April, since it occurred less than 336 hours before the last election.

Just now looking at the language again...I suppose that depends on what is meant by "general election".  Would the just completed election count for that purpose?

Quote
6. Whenever a vacancy should occur in the composition of the General Court, the governor shall appoint a replacement. Should the vacancy have occurred fewer than 336 hours before the next general election, the deputy thus nominated shall serve the remainder of the existing term; otherwise, they shall serve only until a new deputy may be elected.

No, 336 hours (2 weeks) refers to the relation in time between the appointment and the next regular elections in April. Since the appointment occurred well before that mark, it lasts only until the election to directly replace the deputy you filled the slot of (Chalice). That election is this coming weekend, and the winner of that will take the seat, rendering the appointment null and void at that point.

While I do not reside in Fremont, I am happy to serve in its parliament from afar, and so will accept write-in votes should the local authorities be willing to honor them.
