The 2010's may go down as the worst decade since the 60's or 70's (until the 2020's most likely usurp it). The answer is obvious, even though I was in middle school for most of it and hated it.

Exactly

The 2000s were way better than the 2010s

This answer to this question is obvious, I'd much rather live through the 2000s again than the 2010s

Why does Atlas prefer the decade of 9-11, the Iraq War and 8 years of Dubya over 8 years of Obama and having a smart phone in everyone's pocket?

Uh, maybe because our OWN lives were better in the 2000s than in the 2010s?

Not everything is about politics

Also, the culture of the 2000s was generally better imo

I didn't interpret the question to be asking if we'd like to relive our own, actual, lives how they happened in those decades, just a more generic, "which decade was better to exist in, generally speaking" type of question.  I'm not alone in thinking that.

but even if your interpretation that most Atlas posters used, it would still be interesting that Atlas was doing better under Dubya than under Obama.

I have no idea, this was an easy 2010s vote for me.

Well, I would say that the early 2010's, 2010-2013 were pretty good. It was 2014 and after that everything went to s*** with that decade. And I was in middle school and early high school during the 2000's, so that was a more innocent time in my life that I miss. For many of us millennials adulthood hasn't been great.

The 2000s were better no doubt. This was before phones and politics consumed everyone's lives. back then people lived the way they wanted and the culture was live large and luxurious (remember MTV cribs and pimp my Ride) which went away in 10s.
