Something I've noticed: people generally prefer to respond to idiots making stupid idealogical statements than more well-founded arguments.

I wouldn't say it is a persecution complex. If you are anywhere close to even center-right and express that opinion, you are savaged here, condescended to, and just treated unkindly here for the most part. Of course there are exceptions, but folks like me, Phil, and oldiesfreak are treated unfairly on a regular basis.

This isn't the bad posts thread.

Putting a defense of yourself in this thread is in pretty bad taste.
