A woman who seemed to be shot or something and was bleeding pretty badly was just shown on MSNBC being taken out on a stretcher from the Capitol.

Forget all the stuff about tax returns, Trump needs to be tried for treason starting 2 weeks from now.

Damn, and I was just about to praise this board for not engaging in sterile elections talk that seem comparatively meaningless in light of this event.

At least we haven't gotten much "Today won't matter, Dems are still gonna have a horrible 2022" posts

In the same way that 9/11 broke the normal midterm dynamics in 2022, 1/6/2021 (and potential events subsequently) could have a similar effect.

1/6/2021 will be remembered in the same breath as days like 9/11/2001 and 11/7/1941. And, perhaps most importantly of all, 4/12/1861.
