No worries, they already have a solution for these pesky facts: fake news! biased media! Obama admin govt saboteurs!

The White House laid the ground work for this, but Paul Ryan going the other way is pretty amusing.

Taking out of the equation how evil this is, this is also politically stupid. A vast majority have indicated in polling they will blame Trump for this.

CBO clearly states those with pre-existing conditions are not protected in states that end up taking the waivers:

Another Republican lie.

why are you so sure it won't pass the senate?

baffle with BS, ryan-talk and push it through with 50 votes.

Because McConnell isn't dumb.

This won't get 50 votes in the senate. They will write their own bill.

Which will still be bad, but not this bad.

Trump complaining about the 60 vote threshold on Twitter; wants it to be a 51 vote instead:

The funny thing is the health care bill (and I think taxes) will be decided by a 51 vote threshold.

Meadows says that the Senate bill isn't conservative enough to pass in the House.

Unless Heller makes a pretty big shift from a couple weeks ago, I struggle to see how the Republicans get 50.

Sounds like Portman is a no too, but there is no direct quote from him:

Obviously Paul is a confirmed no too.

Scratch that, Portman is not a hard no:

Reading through the lines of his statement, it appears he wants to get to Yes.

Apparently McCain is a No?

He may just be referring to the current form, leaving the door open for a vote on a motion to proceed. He should be assumed as a Yes vote on MTP unless more information comes out that says otherwise.

I read his statement earlier that he's going to put forward 3 amendments on the floor.

Half is the country's population would live in a place with no individual insurers by 2020.
