Trump still has 40 more electoral votes needed. Seems a little premature to call a victory speech, doesn't it

His campaign is basing it on the numbers that are already in. His campaign claims to see something in the numbers available that the AP and co. don't.

You said it not me.

Looks like this is going to a scenario where Trump loses after declaring victory, and then refuses to accept defeat and riots begin all across the country.

I am nervous after reading through Election Night ITTL with Trump declaring victory while many states are still uncalled.

This won't end well at all.

I don’t hear any alarm bells jingling, to be honest. In fact, oddly enough, it looks like Trump will win the popular vote.

November 17th, 2020
Steve Bullock wins Montana’s Senate race as Daines concedes. Democrats hold 57 Senate Seats, Republicans fall to 39 Senate Seats.

Outgoing Governor Steve Bullock has delivered the Montana Senate Seat to Democrats. Despite some uncertainty and confusion with the nomination process, caused by Bullock’s “I will run - I’m not gonna run - I will run” act he pulled in the build up to the race.

November 17th, 2020
With few races outstanding, Democrats take a substantial house majority.

Democrats currently hold 249 House Seats, with just a small handful of races outstanding, gaining at least 23 House seats.

November 17th, 2020
Trump takes narrow lead in Pennsylvania

With more of the vote counted, Donald Trump has taken an extremely narrow lead in the Keystone State. While a recount will likely be held, the State seems to have broken for the Republican president.

November 18th, 2020
Trump wins presidency as AP calls Wisconsin for the President.

He’s done it again. Donald Trump has officially been projected the winner of the 2020 presidential election, after taking a narrow win in Wisconsin. The AP has projected that Donald Trump will be re-elected President of the United States.

K I be voting Kasich now. Sanders I can do, Gabbard, nope.

This ticket is just too dangerous for me. Kasich in states where he can win, Trump in Trump vs Sanders states.

I'd vote for Kasich. I dislike Sanders, but Gabbard is horrendous.

Expanded House and Senate majorities and the assurance that they'll only grow way bigger in 2022? I can live with this.
