Palin is much dumber, but Gingrich has done way more damage to the United States and its political culture long term. So, on balance, Gingrich.

Gingrich is literally satan. Fat boy Newt was such a lazy bum that he married his Geometry teacher just so he could avoid having to work during college after both his father and step-father told him to get a job to finance his tuition
