I don't see that happening, Alpha is dying over the mountains in hispaniola. It may restrengthen a tiny bit once it's back over water by Alpha is almost finished.
It doesn't have to reform, but rather have Wilma absorb Alpha's moisture and energy. I don't think the weather forecaster was actually expecting Alpha to reform.
