Probably. People will certainly ever understand that EU is the only solution for europeans to have a political influence in the world ( and to save their economies... ).
Not really, no. I believe fisheries remain an important issue, as in Iceland, and economic differences between the EU and Norway are also important. Of course, there's always the issue of so-called "national independence" and so forth.
In addition, unless Norway's economy goes down the ultimate sh**tter as Iceland's economy did, it remains relatively unlikely for political reasons. Only DNA and Høyre, IIRC, officially support membership and by consequence, neither could really join the EU outright.
For example, of the current government, DNA's junior partners- the Centre and Socialist Lefties are both opposed to joining.
That could evolute. Remember when UK wanted to create his own alliance.
