Good though that the US primaries are not held on 10 consecutive days.

Otherwise we might find some of our posters here (incl. me) in newspaper reports as well.

Although football is more important than that Wink

Fantastic game. Really beautiful. By far the best I've seen so far in this Euro. It was really a nailbiter all along.

And WE WON ! Cheesy I don't want to seem boastful, but we are a quite great team. We had our bad moments (with Balotelli's great ability to spoil every occation) but we dominated the game in terms of ball possession and of shots on target. It was a deserved win and something very encouraging for our chances.

Now, Germany. It's a classic, so I expect a great match whoever wins (and I hope the historical tradition of Italy being the only team able to beat Germany will persist).

FORZA AZZURRI ! Cheesy

We'll see Smiley

Not too scared of you considering the not all that impressive performance, but then again Germany has also been bad at converting goal scoring opportunities (until the 2nd half of the last game, at least).

Should be fun!

Italy has only scored four goals the entire tournament, two of them against by far the worst team in the tournament. I think Germany will be fine.

But it is Italy... Some curses never get broken, see England and penalties Wink

I hope Italy or Portugal wins it. I'm a huge fan of Buffon (and have been for as long as I can rememer him playing), and I also like Balotelli and Ronaldo.

Buffon I can understand. But Cristiano Ronaldo? How can anyone like him?

I'm honestly really worried happy about Italy. This feels like 2006 all over again. I'll be really pissed pleased if they knock out Germany Smiley

In all honesty, I am too. But the "curse" has to end sometime...and Germany looks like the objectively better team. Not that that's mattered much in previous games against Italy.

I'm prepared either way, though. Although exiting in another semi-final would be disappointing. We seem to always be in the Top 3 but really rarely on top.

Exciting game. Although the Spanish are just...not fun to watch.

I'll support the winner of Italy/Germany in the final no matter what.

I didn't watch any of the matches in this cup so far, but for those who have followed all/most of them, hasn't this been a fairly boring cup overall? I mean, it's quite disappointing/boring to have only the old powerhouses in the finals, when it would have been nice to see countries like Russia (or Greece... Sad) go further.

That's the good thing about this tournament.

Especially the Greek bulls**t not happening again.

Well, Italians and Italy supporters: Hope to see a good game tonight. I think we'll win but I realize you can be quite strong if you want to. Especially to us a major pain in the a**.

If you do win, though, I'll be happy to support you against Spain.

Italy won't defeat the Spanish, so we need Germany to win tonight.

Quite simple.

Pretty bold thing to say considering how well we played against them in the first match.

And considering what happened in the last Euro... Tongue

I fear....unfortunately....that Spain will win the final 1-0 no matter who their opponent is... That's how predictable they are.

Let me be the first to say. Italy deserved this win very clearly and the 2-1 doesn't even do justice to it. Hats off to you, you earned it.

Italy didn't "deserve this very clearly", but they won and played well and finished their chances (well, Balotelli finished his chances) better than the Germans did.

Give credit where it's due. Italy could have easily shot 1 or 2 more.

Antonio you clearly deserved to win, but you're saying Merkel should change her policies because of a lost football game? Sounds like typical Southern European arrogance to me Wink

Considering what the Greek press was doing before the game and what they would have done especially if they had won, that was really quite harmless.

But alright, at least we have money. Smiley

I would like to see Italy vs. Uruguay in the Confederations Cup. We already defeated them in Rome without Forlán, Suárez and Cavani.

Oh well,it was a friendly.
Even Germany can beat us in friendlies Wink

Same for us and England. Even England can win those against us!

Just placed a 100€ online bet on Italy for a winning quota of 3.5 !

So, don't disappoint me today, Italia !

Smiley

Good odds...but I like my money too much to bet it on football.

3.5 does sound good odds... but a hundred euros is a bit too much money to waste.

Actually, I thought about investing 200€ in it, for a 500€ yield in the event of a win.

But 100€ is fine too.

Hast zu viel Geld? Smiley
