I love it. A great reflexion by the Brazilian artist on how everything is so usually centered around Western phallocentric symbols, that once you expose female symbols so openly it becomes “shocking and provoking”. No one ever cares that architecture is mostly used to represent dick-shaped elements.
It’s so easy to anger Brazilian far-right because they basically deeply hate everything the country is about despite hiding behind a false nationalism. They consider Carnaval a degenerate party and act like every aspect of Brazilian culture with roots in Africa or Indigenous communities is “backwards”.
They love to use US and Israel as references and yet hate the social liberalism associated with these places. If depended on them, Brazil would be more like Saudi Arabia and other authoritarian theocracies than these places lol. You can’t be a nationalist if you hate the country you live in and its people.
