As a citizen, I am very alarmed to see my tax dollars being used on a political stunt for a bill which has no chance of becoming law. Also if this does pass, is the Federalist Party willing to accept the blame for increased gun violence?

The Senate would be well-advised to adequately debate this, I'd urge them not to rush it through. This is very consequential and if passed hastily, would lead to a spike in mass shootings. The Senate has done little to address these concerns.

We do not intend to simply stand idly by while you repeal a law that has saved lives and will continue to.

You still never proved it with a source.

Honestly, isn't it common sense that military-style weapons don't belong on the streets, not sure how you can deny this in good faith.
