Net positive for the Republicans, obviously, and the battle on their side will be very fun to watch.

^ Maness is possible. He's he started his own PAC after losing that race, aptly naming it GatorPAC. He endorsed/supported generally hard-right candidates in the state elections.

I'm pretty sure that for tea party types, he'd just cannibalize votes from Fleming, but we'll see. Maness unlike Chris McDaniel in MS, was very quick to make peace with the establishment after running as an insurgent.
