True Grit - I loved it.  Jeff Bridges was absolutely amazing.

Michael Collins - very good film.  Liam Neeson and Alan Rickman were great, as always.

She's Out of my League - I thought it was funny, not great or anything.  Pretty generic comedy of that type.

Bridesmaids - I found it quite funny.  Not as good as The Hangover, though.

Too Big to Fail - I rather liked it.  I thought the actors were all amazing, even if Topher Grace was basically playing Eric Foreman again.

The Hangover: Part II - absolutely awful.  It had some funny moments, but as a whole it was terrible.

Tree of Life - absolutely awful.  I cannot understand how people think it's a good film.

Some people can appreciate great cinematography and film making.

And some people don't find computer images, long digressions of no relevance, and artsy for the sake of artsy to be worthwhile.

Tree of Life. Pretty amazing, although I can see why people would not find it an easy watch. In some ways remniscient of 2001.

I found 2001 to be much more enjoyable, personally.

I saw Horrible Bosses tonight - a great, entertaining show. Extremely funny. It topped Hangover 1 and 2 for me.

Agree completely; I just got back.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II - it's depressing, that the series is over.  It was a major part of my childhood, and now it's done.  That said, this movie was the perfect sendoff.  Every actor had at least some lines, and Rickman was beyond words.  As a fan of the books I don't have much to complain about, which is a nice thing to be able to say.  All around an excellent final installment.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes - absolutely loved it.  The nods to the original were great, and all the actors were spectacular.

Not really.  We still had the movies, which were a part of the story, too.  It's the overall impact of the end of all parts of the series.

Fright Night (2011) - perfectly good movie.  The acting was good, and the special effects were really enhanced by the 3D.

I can understand not liking the argument, but surely you'd accept that it's very well put together?

I actually didn't find it that well organized.  It just sort of jumped all over the place; I couldn't particularly follow why he was putting things where he was.

The Lion King in 3D - absolutely amazing.  Certainly one of the greatest films of all time; glad I got to see it in theaters.
