Note: The dfw count for the first round is 57, not 58 (based on counting the names you have listed).

This is a bit late, but I just went through the Feb. 2017 presidential elections results and found discrepancies in the official totals.

For round 1, only 57 names are listed under dfwlibertylover in the official count, despite the fact that the official total is listed as 58. Also, dkrolga, who voted for Winfield/Poirot in round 1, and is correctly listed as such, listed NeverAgain as his second preference, but this is not reflected in round 2, as dk is absent from the round 2 listing.

The correct totals for round 1 should be 57 dfw, 49 Nev, 8 Win, 8 Max, 2 spoilt, to a total of 122.
For the second round, this should be 63 dfw, 58 Nev, 3 spoilt, also to a total of 122.

Edit: Also, bouncycorn posted a ballot that read ' ]dfwlibertylover,' and this was listed as spoilt. Not sure if there is some piece of legislation that defines a spoilt ballot, but other users got away with ballots that read 'dfw' or something similar, with no preference stated. If bouncycorn were to be counted in the total, then the official vote totals (which are currently one vote higher than they should be) would be fixed (aside from dkrolga's absence in Round 2).

Edit 2: For the House election, I'm counting 12 rather than 13 for tedbessell, 13 rather than 12 for simossad, and 12 rather than 11 for SecureAmerica/Heisenberg, putting my total at 119, rather than 118.

I do think the real results need to be posted eventually, including the numbers. Doesn't have to be today, but this can't be sufficient.

Yes, I agree. I believe it's stated somewhere that the sofe must provide a list of voters who participated in the election or something like that.

So there are a few differences between my count and yours, because you counted exhausted votes in the reallocation of surpluses whereas I ignored them (both are equally valid methods I think). I also made an error by not recalculating the quota on every round based on the removal of exhausted votes, so your results are probably more consistent than mine or ASV's (which are pretty much the same except for a rounding error), since you never removed the exhausted votes anyway.

Too lazy to give the whole explanation, so here's a neat spreadsheet. Rounded to the nearest thousandth. Quota is 12, 116 valid voters total. ltomlinson, vern1988 (both not enough posts), PragmaticPopulist (edited too late), wxtransit (deleted original ballot), and Fuzzy Bear (registered too late) are invalid.

Do you still have a spreadsheet saved from this election? If I'm not mistaken, dfw should have had 9 and RFayette should have had 11.

Not to my knowledge.

EDIT: I actually do, I'll PM you the link.

Alright, there is in fact a mistake in the April results. You counted mvd for DFW instead of RFayette.

Can you PM any spreadsheets you have for June, August and October as well? (For mapmaking purposes Smiley )

Small (irrelevant) correction to presidential results:

Since the Homestar/Wulfric write-ins exhaust, tmth wins on the second round without needing to reallocate anything.

tmth - 50.7% - 77
YE - 42.1% - 64
MB - 5.9% - 9
Wells/Razze - 1.3% - 2
