The blaster has an interesting origin, and I never knew the Tie Fighters sound originated from "slowed down elephant calls".

I am a huge fan of the sound that the pirate guy in Return of the Jedi makes when Luke pushes him into the Sarlacc Pit.

I also like the noise when Luke kills this Stormtrooper in the Death Star

Someone that would remember and talk about the "Gonk" sound, would need to be a big Star Wars fan (nerd). LOL.
I was very fond of not only Sebulba's podracer, but all the sounds of the various podracers. Agree with you here.
